community work
I believe access to yoga practices should never be limited to those who already have the time, money, or sense of belonging to claim it. I am committed to sharing this practice with anyone willing to learn, particularly people who have been marginalised.
At present, this means facilitating therapeutic, trauma-informed yoga sessions at Silverwater Women’s Correctional Centre, and offering accessible somatic yoga and breathwork to senior women at Lakemba Community Centre.
Both are communities that deserve practices held with care, attention, and respect, not as an exception, but as a standard.
